Big S Pass FAQ
1. HOW DO I BUY MY PASS?
It’s never been easier to order your BIG S Season Pass. You may order online now. You may also purchase your pass in-person at any Guest Services location.
2. I RENEWED MY PASS FROM LAST YEAR. DO I USE THE SAME ONE THIS SEASON?
No. Each year you will be issued a new season pass if you chose to renew. Feel free to keep former season passes for posterity, but make sure to bring your current one when you want to hit the slopes! See below for picture guidelines.
3. HOW DO I GET MY PICTURE TAKEN? CAN I KEEP MINE FROM LAST YEAR?
For returning passholders, we are automatically using previous season pass photos for this year’s BIG S Passes unless otherwise contacted. We have several people whose photo is too blurry or they have sunglasses on or whatever. If this is the case with the photo we have of you, we’ll be sending an email alerting you to the fact that we need a new mug shot. If you would like a new picture, or your appearance has greatly changed, please follow the directions below. Parents – your kids are growing – please help us keep their pictures current by getting new pictures taken as soon as possible after ordering their pass.
For first time BIG S Pass holders, please be aware we will need a pass photo before your pass can be delivered. Photos may be uploaded into your account online. To upload your photo, go to our online store and click on “Guest Lookup”. Look yourself up by typing in your name a date of birth, then click on “Edit”. You will see the “Photo Upload” button. We ask that your photo is a well-lit close-up head shot without hats or sunglasses. To expedite the upload process, please keep the photo under 1MB.
We can also take your picture in Guest Services. Please visit us at any open Guest Services location. For hours of operation, click here.
4. WHEN WILL I GET MY PASS?
During the summer months, please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your pass.
We will mail your pass provided we have your photo and signed liability release on file.
5. DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
Washington State sales tax of 8.6% will be applied to all sales.
6. WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT BEING A PASSHOLDER ANYWAY?
For one thing…you get to go straight to the lifts on powder days! Who wants to wait in a ticket line when Mother Nature delivers fresh stuff?
Also, make sure you check out the Big S Club for all kinds of special deals and discounts with area businesses exclusively for BIG S passholders. We’ve always thought you were special…now others do too!

NO. Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If, however, you have an extraordinary hardship we will be happy to take your request into consideration. Please keep in mind that a $25 processing fee may apply. Guests with extreme circumstances that prevent them from using their pass are most often “rolled over” into passes for the following season.
